Experienced journalists wanted, in every area
We're always on the lookout for experienced, self-employed journalists across the UK to tell the positive stories of independent local businesses.
The role
As a La Vida journalist you look after your own patch. You meet local business owners, interview them and turn their stories into features for our printed magazine, our website and our social media.
You're self-employed, so you plan your own diary. We give you the brand, the magazine, the tools and the support to build something in your area.
Who we're looking for
- Experienced journalists and feature writers
- Self-employed, or happy to work on a self-employed basis
- Confident meeting business owners face to face
- Warm, positive storytellers who know their local area
- Based anywhere in the UK: we're growing into new areas all the time
What you get
A respected brand

Our newsroom app
Record an interview on your phone and our app helps turn it into finished magazine, website and social copy.
Your own area
Build relationships with the businesses on your patch and grow your work with them, edition after edition.
